Dr Larry Levin CEO (GDC 59245) – Larry qualified as a dentist in 1982 from the University of Stellenbosch, in sunny South Africa. He is an experienced clinician and has completed post graduate study in the field of Dental Implants and Cosmetic Dentistry.
He is member of the Hillingdon Local Dental Committee and he is responsible for the overall strategy and focus of The Dental Design Studio.
Dr Jeffrey Sherer Clinical Director (GDC 77657) – Jeffrey qualified as a dentist in 2000 from the University of Leeds. He is not a native Yorkshireman however, and is originally from the USA. He is an experienced clinician and has completed post graduate study in the field of Dental Implants and Sedation Dentistry.
He is also a member of the Hillingdon Local Dental Committee and offers support, guidance and advice within all the operational aspects of The Dental Design Studio.
Michaela Matthews – Operations and Compliance Director
My journey with The Dental Design Studio commenced in 2013 as a Practice Manager of our largest practice located in Lowestoft, Suffolk. As the company grew, I took on various larger roles from Regional Manager East to Business Strategy Manager to Operations and Compliance. My current role is very varied and an extremely busy role yet equally very rewarding to watch the business grow and evolve further.
Prior to The Dental Design Studio, I joined the British Army in 1991 at the young age of 17 and embarked on an absolutely wonderful military career spanning 12 years. Soldiering being my primary role (soldier first) and logistics & supply management as my applied trade. Upon leaving the British Army I then joined the Royal Air Force and trained as a Combat Medic and Dental Nurse, culminating in Unit Dental Management. With a multitude of managerial roles thereafter, my personal skillset, knowledge and competencies are extremely varied, but very well fine-tuned! I am very proud of my military veteran status.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter. I also get involved with my local veteran military charities. Any spare time thereafter I like to run to keep fit!
Jane Bartlett – Regional Manager North
I am the Regional Manager for the Lincolnshire area.
I started working for The Dental Design Studio in 2013 and I have to say I really do enjoy what I do.
I started in dentistry 23 years ago and qualified as a dental nurse in 1999. I then followed the natural progression in my career to be where I am today.
Outside of work, I enjoy holidays which unfortunately I don’t have enough of, running, reading and walking my 4 crazy dogs.
Michael Gillespie - Integration Manager
I joined the Dental Design Studio in January 2023 as Integration Manager, and have enjoyed the (many) challenges that the dental world has thrown at me so far.
I’ve previously worked in Integration in another sector, and hope to use my experience from there to best benefit the Dental Design Studio as we grow.
Outside of work I like to spend time with my children, and regularly exercise.
Gemma Curtis – Regional Manager East
I joined The Dental Design Studio in September 2023 and have worked in the dental industry for the last 4 years. Prior to this, I spent over ten years working as a manager in the retail sector.
I am passionate about developing and coaching practice teams and ensuring the patient journey is at the heart of the practice.
In my spare time I like to spend time and travel with my family including my Chow-Chow Teddy.
Mandla Mtombeni - Head of Finance at the Dental Design Studio
I am Mandla Mtombeni, Head of Finance at the Dental Design Studio, a passionate finance professional, responsible for all matters relating to our finance function. I am internationally experienced and over the years have been privileged to hold several senior leadership roles in corporate finance while working and living in Southern Africa, East Africa, the UAE, and Europe.
I love pets, watching nature and history documentaries, traveling, and enjoy spending time with family and friends.
