Story
The Dental Design Studio in North Walsham is more than just a dental practice - it’s a part of the town’s history. From 1964 to 1982, the building was home to Fullers, a well-known clothes and haberdashery shop. Fullers also owned the small room next door, now Specsavers, where they sold ladies’ underwear. Behind the back door, a small loke led to another section of the shop that specialized in fabrics and materials. Today, while the storefront has changed, the building’s character remains, blending its rich past with modern dental care.
Now a trusted dental practice, The Dental Design Studio offers a full range of treatments, from routine check-ups to advanced cosmetic dentistry. Housed in a historic listed building, our practice maintains a welcoming atmosphere while providing high-quality care. Patients looking for a brighter, cleaner smile can take advantage of our direct-access hygiene service - no referral needed. Our North Walsham Dental Design Studio is located at 20 Market Place, North Walsham, Norfolk, NR28 9BP.
By Car:
If you’re traveling by car, the practice is conveniently located in the town centre. North Walsham is accessible via the A149 and A140. There is public parking available nearby, such as the Vicarage Street car park or Bank Loke car park, both just a short walk from Market Place.
By Bus:
Several local bus routes serve the North Walsham area, with stops near the Market Place. The closest bus stop is less than a 2-minute walk away on Yarmouth Road. Routes such as the X55 and 210 connect North Walsham with nearby towns like Cromer, Norwich, and Stalham.
By Train:
North Walsham train station is approximately a 10-minute walk from the practice. The station is served by regular trains on the Bittern Line, providing connections to Norwich and Sheringham. From the station, head towards the town centre, and follow signs to Market Place.
On Foot:
If you're walking from the town centre, our practice is located right in Market Place, which is at the heart of North Walsham. It’s easy to find, with shops and local amenities nearby.

Visitor Accessibility and Facilities:
Our practice is wheelchair friendly with disabled access to the rear of the building, and downstairs surgeries and disabled toilets are also available.
As a team we speak a wide variety of languages too: English, Spanish, South African, Romanian and Indian.
We also have a hearing loop available at request.
We do our best to accommodate all our patients’ needs with our extended opening hours. We’re open until 6pm each weekday and have a reception service on Saturday mornings. If you want to book an appointment, just give us a call and we’ll strive to find a time to suit you.
