A little bit about us in Lowestoft…

As the largest Practice within The Dental Design Studio group, we provide dental services 7 days a week at the following times – 


Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm
Saturday 9am to 6pm
Sunday 9am to 5pm



We are located just off the main high street, a short walk from the bus & train stations and opposite a taxi rank. There is parking available outside the Practice and a pay & display car park at the end of the road.

The practice contains 8 well equipped modernised surgeries, two of which are located on the ground floor allowing for ease of access for disabled patients if required. We also have a hearing loop available at reception, please ask our receptionists for assistance.



Dental services we provide at the Practice are listed as follows –


 

  • OPG (dental x-ray unit) – providing an ability to x-ray the whole jaw
  • Orthodontist – who straightens teeth both children & adults providing removable braces, fixed and transparent
  • Hygienist surgery – available to clean teeth and offer excellent oral health care advice
  • Aligners we offer - Invisalign 
  • Denture repair service (Monday to Friday)
  • Cosmetic services – teeth whitening, white fillings, mouth guards, crowns and bridges
  • Working closely with our sister Practice at Beccles who provide a very popular Implant Clinic

 



All our staff are highly skilled, friendly, helpful and are extremely sympathetic to anxious patients; additionally, between them they are able to converse in English, Greek, Italian and French which helps patients to fully understand dental treatments and enable any further dental specific questions to be answered. 



We very much welcome new and existing patients and offer both NHS & Private treatments to the highest standards. We also assist with dental emergencies on a daily basis. 


We also have a hearing loop available at request.

I am the Practice Manager at our Lowestoft branch.


I qualified as a dental nurse in 1987 and I have also worked as a dental receptionist.


I joined the Dental Design Studio in 2014 and I am managing 8 surgeries that keep me very busy. When I am not working I enjoy socializing with my friends and family.


I love traveling and visiting new countries, eating out and swimming. I also have a passion for interior design and I love to be at home sewing, baking and pottering in my garden.

I completed my training at the University of Aix-Marseilles in France 11 years after finishing my A levels in Mauritius.

I won a French Scholarship and I am also a holder of a post-graduate in general pharmacology (Marseille) and Dentofacial orthopaedic (Montpellier).


I owned a private practice in Mauritius for 20 years and relocated to the UK in 2006.


I have served as a school Governor in the curriculum and quality committee at the East Norfolk Sixth Form College in Gorleston for 8 years, and I also hold a NVQ level 4 in Health and Social Care.


In 2016, I worked as a dentist in the South of France (Orange). I have recently started with The Dental Design Studio as a general dental practitioner and I am looking forward to further developing myself within dental implants.

I am Demetrio and I qualified as a dentist in Italy in 2016. Soon after my degree, I joined a private practice in Italy and kept myself up to date by attending many seminars in different fields of dentistry. I was also a dental volunteer at a charitable organisation in my hometown in which I provided dental treatment to needy people. Those were really valuable experiences, that enriched me personally and helped to build my manual skills.

I joined The Dental Design Studio in Lowestoft in August 2019. I like to put patients at ease and to make their experience to a dental practice as much comfortable as possible. My aim is to further my skills in oral surgery and prosthodontics to offer the best quality of dental care to my patients.

I like spending time with my friends and I enjoy football and travelling as well. Of course, since Italian, I love cooking!

I am Nadia, I was qualified as a dentist at Sofia Medical University in 2021.

 

I have a Masters Degree in Dental Medicine.


I have worked as a general dentist in two Military hospitals and a Private Specialized Endodontic Practice in the center of Athens.


In February 2024, I joined the Dental Design Studio in Lowestoft.I am passionate about dentistry, and I always try to keep myself updated on new techniques, so I can provide high-quality Treatment to my patients.



In my free time, I enjoy cooking, reading books, and going on long walks.

I am Aishwarya, GDC registered Dental Therapist. I graduated from India in the year 2013 and since working as General Dentist. I joined the DENTAL DESIGN STUDIO in Lowestoft practice in November 2023. I am looking forward to building my career, enriching my knowledge, and developing my skills in dentistry. 


I love reading books and listening to music in my spare time.

I am Dr Saina, I graduated from India and I am a GDC registered dental therapist. After practising in the private sector in India I moved to the UK to be with my family.


I am always keen on professional development and keep myself up to date.


Apart from dentistry I am passionate about reading, movies and working out.

I am a passionate Dental Therapist excited to take the next step by completing my ORE exam to practice as a dentist in the UK. I have been working since I graduated in prosthodontics back in India in 2021.


I joined the team in May 23 and I am really happy, treating all the lovely children.


When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter.

I joined the dental design studio in January 2024. As a qualified overseas dentist and a registered dental therapist, I aspire to deliver quality care to patients. I have a genuine interest in helping patients to achieve and maintain optimal oral well-being. I am a great believer in continuing education, and I strive to keep up to date with the latest developments in dental care and technology. 


I am heavily focused on prevention and helping patients keep their teeth for as long as possible. It is of utmost importance to me to create a comfortable and relaxed environment for my patients.


Outside work, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my two-year-old son and my husband.

My name is Sianne and I joined the team in 2019. It’s great coming to work every day, working with such an amazing team.

My name is Shauna, I am a student Dental Nurse; I recently joined The Dental Design Studio in October 2020. I will be qualified by the beginning of 2022.

Before starting this apprenticeship I studied a variety of subjects including Criminology, Sociology, Law and Health and Social Care. The career field I’ve always wanted to go into has been something evolving around people, and this is the best type of work I could have gone into because every shift is so rewarding and makes me so happy to be part of such an amazing team.

When I’m not at work I like to spend time with my family, especially my little nephew, and friends. Also enjoy designing tattoos and watching true crime documentaries.

I am Kathryn and I have been a dental nurse for 23 years. I qualified in 1995 and gained my radiography qualification in 2002. 

I work in surgery and on the reception, which I both enjoy very much. 

When I am in surgery I am mainly supporting our orthodontist dentist and it is very rewarding to see the transformations that orthodontic dentistry makes, especially for the children and the young adults that we see.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and reading.

Hello, my name is Sheryl. I have been working at the Dental Design Studio since May 2016 where I started as a Trainee Dental Nurse. Since then, I have qualified, completed a post qualification in Dental Radiography and an access to life science course in order to go to university and become a Dental Hygienist. 

I work both in surgery and reception part time and alongside this I also stream video games and run a yearly charity event to raise money for cancer research. I am very passionate about the Dental industry and really enjoy seeing the trust and confidence build within patients and seeing their smiles. 

In my spare time I enjoy playing video games, creating and editing videos, watching the F1 and face paint.

Hi my name is Hannah; I joined The Dental Design Studio in January 2021.

Before starting my apprenticeship I studied biomedical science at Lowestoft sixth form college. I enjoy all aspects of my job and have a passion for dental nursing. 

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with family, friends and going for dog walks with my golden retriever, Harvey.

I have experience in Minor Oral surgery and sedation. I really enjoy my work. I am also Mummy to my 9 month old son.

Hi, my name is Faith, I have recently left sixth form to join The Dental Design Studio to train as a Dental Nurse. Joining DDS is one of the best decisions I have made. I feel I have learned a lot in the short amount of time I’ve been here. And have found it easy to connect with the team as everyone is welcoming and friendly. 


Outside of work I enjoy going out with my friends, as well as going on walks with my dog Toby.

I have worked at Regent Road Dentist since 1989, where I started off doing dental nursing and reception. 

Since returning to work after having a family, I have been working on the reception, which I really enjoy. 

As I have worked at the Lowestoft branch for over 25 years, I have got to know many of our patients well, which I think goes a long way in helping patients feel relaxed.

In my spare time, I spend time with my husband and three children.

This apprenticeship has really opened doors to the world of dentistry. I look forward to progressing in my career as I aspire to be a Hygienist and provide good oral health care. In addition, it is satisfying watching the transformations and patients become happy with their smile.

I really enjoy studying at The Dental Design Studio. It’s a privilege to be able to watch, learn and help the amazing Dentists in the practice.

My name is Amira and I am 16 years old. I recently joined The Dental Design Studio after leaving high school this year.

I’ve always wanted to be a dental nurse so to have gained this opportunity means everything to me. I love to learn and am really enjoying being part of the team here at The Dental Design Studio. I look forward to meeting more patients in the coming weeks and months.

Outside of work I love to be with friends and enjoy time spent at home with my family.

In my spare time I enjoy doing beauty treatments such as eyelash extensions, massage etc, which is where I think my passion for making people feel good about themselves stems from.

My name is Florence , I have recently joined the dental design studio as a student nurse. I look forward to progressing after this apprenticeship, as I would love to be a hygienist in the future. I am highly interested in making people feel happy and confident in themselves and their smile. My name is Olivia, I joined The Dental Design Studio in 2016 as a student nurse and found such a passion for dental nursing. I enjoy all aspects of my job from assisting the dentists to helping patients overcome their fears and anxieties.

I recently progressed to head nurse in the practice which is keeping me very busy as I spend a lot of time supporting and mentoring our student nurses in the practice which I really enjoy.

In my free time I love to get out for long walks with my dog and I also love to travel to new places.

My name is Ellen, I am new to the dentistry industry and joined The Dental Design Studio in April 2022. I am really looking forward to learning about dentistry and working alongside the whole team here.

My spare time is mostly taken up by my 1yr old son and puppy but when we get the chance we love spending time with our family and friends and exploring different parts of the UK on staycations.

I’m Nikki, I started out as a dental nurse in 2001 working at two other practices in Lowestoft. I left dental nursing in 2010 to go on maternity leave and was a stay-at-home mum for seven years to my two boys.

My boys turned seven and three recently, and I felt it was time to get back out into the working world. The opportunity came up for me to join The Dental Design Studio as a part time receptionist and I’ve now been here since the beginning of October 2017. 

I feel I’ve settled in well, even seeing a few patients that I used to know from my nursing years.

Most of my spare time is taken up with mum duties, but when I get the chance, I enjoy baking and crochet.

I’m a mum of 2 grown up children and stepmum to 1.


I’ve joined the team here after working in a GP surgery and before that I worked in a pharmacy.


In my spare time I am an Avon representative and I enjoy knitting and reading. I also love to be outside when the sun is about.
